Speaking for a nation

Cracking cover, too

Cracking cover, too

My first album review of 2021 (hot on the heels of the last one in 2020 which, appropriately, was a seasonal sensation) was a treat. Divisive as they are, there’s no doubting that Sleaford Mods are making important and influential music which documents British decay. They’re righteously angry but also very funny. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea but we should all be thankful that ‘acts’ like this exist and continue to poke at the rotting underbelly of our nation. You can read it here, should you wish.
